AGNES (WENDY) MARIE DUCLO

Wendy passed away peacefully at home on October 25, 2024 at the age of 86. Wendy was born in Rutland Vermont on Christmas Eve in 1937. She was the oldest of nine children. She attended Chris the King Catholic School & Church. She has been a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Big Pine Key and was a Catholic Daughter. She was a devout Catholic and loved her church community. Wendy loved shopping, dining out and Rob Roy Martini's. She enjoyed the beach and loved being on the water. She loved to rescue pets over the years and provided wonderful lives for many. In 1956, she married the love of her life, Wiley Duclo. They were married for 68 years. Wiley was in the military, and they traveled to many destinations throughout his career. They finally settled in Key West calling it their forever home. Wendy worked at the A & B Lobster House and Captain Bob's Seafood Restaurants. She made many lifelong friends through her working career. Wendy is predeceased by her parents, Patrick & Dorothy Stapleton, Her grandson Will Duclo, and her brother David Stapleton. She is survived by her daughter Maryann McNamara (Linda) and her son Bill Duclo (Rosemary). Her grandchildren Jason McNamara and Jillian Duclo. Her siblings Mary Margaret Parker, Kathleen Huges, Patrick Stapleton, Roseanne Vitagliano, Eddie Stapleton, Judy Stella, and Dorothy Stapleton and many Nieces & Nephews. A Mass of celebration will be held on Thursday October 31, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. The Basilica of St. Mary Star of the Sea, 1010 Windsor Lane Key West, FL.
