Alejandrina "Chonga" Hernandez of Key West, Florida, it is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear sister who left this world on October 26, 2024, peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born on August 26, 1933 to the late Manuel & Berta Arencibia. Chonga is also preceded in death by her husband, Juan; brothers, Jose, Santiago, Simon, Vincent; sisters, Caridad, Crecencia; brother-in-law, Pascual, Juan, Pablo; sister -in- law, Tessie, Laura; nephew, Jose.
Chonga is survived by her brother, Francisco (Mercy); sisters, Dominga, Maria (Manuel), Lucrecia; nieces; Guigermina, Teresa, Clara (Stan), Yamilia (Luis), Aileen, Vivian, Margarita, and Adriana; nephews, Santiago (Martha), Pedro (Heather); Pedro (Robert), Manuel, Carlos (Kim), Frank, Ruben (Rosa), Jesus, Marco (Debbi), and many, many, grand and great grand nieces and nephews. Chonga will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
