Allen N. Murphy 90, of Key West, FL and Hampton Bays, NY died July 3, 2023 in Key West, FL. His wife Clarissa predeceased him. He leaves his sons; Allen (Maureen) of Key West and Centereach, NY; Matthew of Riverhead, NY; Kevin of Patchogue, NY; and Michael (Denise) of Hauppauge, NY and his seven grandchildren: Allen, Meaghan, Kevin, Kaylieh, Daniel, Madeline, and Grace. Mr. Murphy was retired from the United States Navy and the New York City Fire Department. He earned his Bachelors of Science from New York Institute of Technology. Allen Murphy was a member of the retired Military Officers Association, Disabled Veterans, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign War and Picnic River Sportsman Club. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dean-Lopez Funeral Home on Monday July 10, 2023. Burial will take place in the near future at Good Grounds Cemetery in Hampton Bays, NY.
