Obituary

Allen Arthur Zamrok, Jr. {Zam} passed away peacefully in his sleep early in the morning of May 23rd.  He was predeceased by his parents Allen Arthur Zamrok, Sr., Mary June Zamrok , his younger brother Henry Jay Zamrok and his beloved wife Jacki.  He is survived by his sister Louise Ahalt, his sister in law Yvette (Ed), his brother in law Daniel, his niece Jessica Ahalt, his nephew and Godson Timothy Ahalt (Nicole), and his nephew Louis Zuckerman as well as 5 great nieces and 2 great nephews. He is also survived by some of the best friends that anyone could ever want.  Justin and Kim Boswell, Kat and Baker, Jan Milbyer, Vicky Elwyn, Lisa Morris to mention a few. Allen was an accomplished diver who spent most of his life living among many islands in the Caribbean.  Just to mention a few:  San Salvador, Bonaire, Andros Island, Cayman Brac, Great Exuma, Chub Key and Bimini. That was until he met Jacki Zuckerman who became the only woman to capture him and his heart.  They settled in Key West and lived there happily until Jacki passed. He received a DEMA award for reaching 5,000 dives and was on the cover of Diver Magazine. He had been  working for the National Park Service on the Dry Tortugas.  He was very proud of that and even during his illness continued to interact with his boss Tree whenever there was an issue or question. There will be a memorial/celebration of life service at a later date.
