In loving memory of Anthony George “Ants” Hagan. January 21, 1975 – August 1, 2026. With heavy heart, we announce the passing of Anthony “Ants” Hagan., who passed away on August 1, 2026. Ants was just 51 years old at the time of his passing. Born January 21, 1975, in Boston, Mass., Ants grew up in the Roslindale section of Boston, a place he was always surrounded by family and friends. Anthony was born to Marie Cerullo and George Hagan. Thanks to the love, support and guidance of late mother Marie, Ants thrived and grew into a successful young man, From a young age it was obvious Ants was mechanically inclined; he loved to tinker, build and destroy things. All through grade school and at Don Bosco Technical High School Ants showed exceptional talent as a mechanic. His nickname “Ants” perfectly describes the heart, grit, and resilience he brought to work and life. Ants’ mechanical journey began at his grandfather’s auto shop in Brookline, MA and culminated with him running his own auto repair shop. Ants’ journey from Roslindale to Key West, with a few stops in Tupper Lake, NY, was not always an easy one. But Ants refused to allow life’s hardships to slow him down. Throughout his life Ants fought with heart, true grit and resilience that lasted until the end of his life. Although our hearts are broken beyond words, we find peace in knowing Ants is finally free from the struggle of life. Ants’ story will never truly end; His memory will live on with the loved ones he left behind. He is survived by his brother Dan and his wife Kristin, his brothers Brandon and Sean, his nephews, a group of cousins who were thick as thieves, Chris, Jerry, Mike and Pat. He also leaves behind his Key West family of Maureen, Melissa and Nicole as well as his boss and friend John. And many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A remembrance for Ants is being planned for the near future.
