Bonnie Tynes passed from this life on January 15, 2024 after a long illness.  Bonnie was a conch who spent most of her life in Key West.  She had many jobs and hobbies and loved a good party.  Bonnie had her own TV show, was a spiritual teacher, sang in night clubs, was crowned Miss Key West in 1956, and loved to surround herself with colorful statues and memorabilia.  She was sure to bring fun to any adventure--she was our own movie star.  Her wit still makes us laugh.  Most importantly, she considered her friends family.  She will be buried in the Tynes family plot in the Key West Cemetery.  She is survived by her daughter, Dana Nolfe Messer, her two grandchildren, Zak, (Abbey), and Nicki Messer as well as her sister Gail Tynes and niece Melanie Gutierrez Craig.  A celebration of life will be held later this year.
