Carlos Hernandez passed peacefully in his sleep June 22, 2023.  Carlos was born in Regla, Cuba on August 20th, 1940.  He left Cuba with his father in 1952 to start their new life in Key West.  There, he met, fell in love, and then married Maria Abreu on February 16, 1974.  Carlos was a faithful servant of Jehovah God.  During his 49 years of service, he help people learn about the good news that Jesus preached.  Although we will miss him, we will never forget his generous, humble sprit, and loving disposition.  He was preceded in death by his parents Angel and Sara Hernandez.  He is survived by his sisters, Carmen Hernandez, Armanda (Leonardo) Perez, Nathalia Martin, and many nephews and nieces.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1117 White Street Key West, FL.
