Obituary

Charles Nation III, 81, of Big Pine Key West, passed away on April 11, 2024.

Born on August 17, 1942, in Evanston Illinois, to Mary and Charles Nation II. Charles pursued his passion for helping others by obtaining undergraduate and master's degrees from University of Virginia and Nova University respectively. He dedicated his career to social services, tirelessly working to improve the lives of those less fortunate.

He is survived by his sisters, Constance Devine and Victoria Buttitta, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and a host of friends who will miss his vibrant personality and compassionate spirit.

A memorial service will be held on July 13 at 3:00 pm, at the University of Virginia Columbarium # F-176.

Charles's legacy of kindness and humor will be remembered fondly by all who were fortunate to know him. His laughter will echo in our hearts forever.
