Dennis, 71, of Key West, lost his battle with lung cancer on November 2, 2024.
Dennis was born December 29, 1953 in Birmingham Alabama to the late Marvin and Grace Davis. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Dale 'Yani' Davis. He is survived by his daughters Alison Dione and Casey, along with granddaughter Jamie.
Dennis was formally a long time resident of Birmingham, AL moving to the Keys in 2018. Spending his remaining years in the warm Florida weather.
As a young adult, he discovered his passion for carpentry work. He became a master carpenter and created works of art from ordinary lumber. Dennis was also an avid guitar player. He loved to watch college football 'Roll Tide'.
He will especially be remembered for his kind soul. Dad, granddad and friend, he will be sorely missed by all who loved him. May he rest in peace. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Florida Keys SPCA 5711 College Road Key West, FL 33040.
