After a long battle with cancer, loving wife, mother and friend, Evelyn Teresa Wyse, passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 61. She remained strong in her faith and dedicated to her family and friends until the very end.

Evelyn was born and raised in Miami, FL where she received her Bachelor's degree from Barry University. She was a member of the 74th Recruit Class of the Florida Highway Patrol. Lieutenant Wyse served as a law enforcement officer for over 35 years. She loved every facet of the Key West community. As an avid animal lover, she cared deeply for her pets.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James "Mike" Wyse. Other survivors include her daughter Brandee Williamson; son Troy Williamson; stepson James Wyse; stepdaughter Jeanna and her husband Javier Garrido along with their children, Andrew and Annabel; siblings Joseph Suggs, Anne Matthews and David Suggs.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at St. Mary's Star of the Sea on Thursday, August 17th at 11am.
