Michael E. McCormack (age 70), known lovingly as "Gumps" to his grandchildren, passed away on September 5, 2026 at home in Key Colony Beach, FL after a long and courageous battle with heart disease. Michael was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Renee (Beauseigneur) McCormack. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Cindy Fox. He leaves behind three children, Karen, Connie, and Matthew and seven loving grandchildren, Kaley, Maddy, Charlie, Anthony, Olivia, Amelia, and Elise. Michael was raised in Paramus, NJ along with his sister, Debbie, and brother, Dennis, who both survive him. He was a lover of New York sports teams and all things New York. He was an avid foodie and loved taking rides with Cindy to explore new places and great places to stop for a sweet treat or quick snack, which often turned into four-course meals and all-day eating marathons. He loved nothing more than spending time spoiling his grandchildren and is likely responsible for more trips to Orlando theme parks than any other grandparent in history. He will be sincerely missed by those who knew and loved him.
