Norbert left this world peacefully in his sleep on July 5th. He leaves behind his mother Etelka Vendegh, sister Eve Bender, and niece Rachel Bender, as well as his aunt Eva and cousins Andre and Sheryl. He was a gifted artist who worked in many mediums. As an ordained Tibetan Buddhist Monk he took his daily practices very seriously and was joyful in sharing conversations about Buddhism when people showed an interest in learning about it. As a young man he served his country in the Navy. Norbert always had time for a friendly word and a little chat with everyone that crossed his path. He will be missed by many who love him.
