Pedro Delgado Sr died alongside family peacefully at Mt. Sinai Medical center. Pedro was 78 and fought a courageous battle with cancer. Pedro is survived by his wife Ana of 57 years of marriage. Pedro had two sons, Pedro Jr( Julie Coggins) of Tampa Florida and Alberto (Jessica Delgado ) of Madison Florida. To the grandkids he was Lelo, and there was nothing else he treasured more than his grandchildren. Lelo had 10 grandchildren  and 2 great grandchildren.  Ashley  Sorrrento ( great grandkids : Dominc and Jonathan), Pedro III and Anthony Delgado .  Alberto's kids were Joshua, Moises, Janessa, Noelle, Nicholas, Penelope
and Madison Delgado. Lelo loved taking the grandkids fishing, walks around the neighborhood and just spending time with them. He loved birthdays and Christmas Eve with his family. He loved telling us his stories of Cuba and where he came from. Pedro was born July 9, 1945  to Engrasia and Luis Delgado and passed away March 17th of 2024. He was from Varacoa Cuba, and was a commercial fisherman in Key West  for 44 years. Everywhere he went people knew him and he loved to talk and tell stories with all his fishing friends over coffee each morning. He had a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone even if that meant he was going to do without. A funeral and burial already  took place with family and close friends in Key West. We are so thankful and blessed for this great life he lived, memories and love that we will carry forever. We love you Lelo, rest in peace until we meet again.
