Ron C. Neault, 86, of Summerland Key, passed away, Thursday, September 26, 2024 following a brief hospitalization.  He was in the company of his loving bride of 34 years, Diane.  Ron spent his working years as a teamsters truck driver, retiring to the Keys.  He spent his retirement years as an avid bike rider.  He rode without fail every morning and evening.  His love of the water led to numerous snorkel and diving adventures, particularly when lobster season was in full swing.  He added tending personal stone crab traps to his repertoire this year.  He and wife Diane were hooked on dominoes and met with friends every night for a friendly game.  In his spare time, Ron hung out on the water's edge on his back porch taking in the beautiful water view of the Lower Keys.  Ron was born April 23, 1938 to Rudy and Bertha Neault, both of whom preceded him in death.  He also lost a 17 year old son to a car accident.  Ron is survived by wife of 34 years Diane.  They were married in his beloved Key West June 28, 1990.  He is also survived by son Jeff and daughter Christina along with grandchildren Cassandra Audet (David), Alisa Meloche (Adam) and Malissa Neault. He also leaves behind five great grandchildren.  Fr. Jets will host a service for Ron at 10 a.m. October 16, 2024 at St. Peter Catholic Church on US 1 in Big Pine Key, FL.  In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Florida Keys SPCA 5711 College Road Key West, FL 33040.
