In Loving Memory of Sandra Marie Castellano

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Sandra Marie Castellano, who passed away on June 20, 2026, in Key West, Florida. Born on July 26, 1943, Sandra lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family and friends, as well as a deep love of reading. She was a very compassionate mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard I. Castellano Sr.; her sister, Sylvia Saunders; and her parents, George E. Saunders Sr. and Carolyn Saunders, all of whom she dearly loved and missed. She is lovingly survived by her brother, George E. Saunders Jr.; her two sons, Richard I. Castellano Jr. (Debbie) and David Castellano (Hayley); and her daughter, Lisa Castellano. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Tyler Tickle, Cody Tickle (Ashley), Stephanie Castellano, Katelynn Castellano, Scott Castellano (Aerial), Morgon Castellano, and Andrew Valdez, as well as her great-grandchildren, Spencer, Lilliana, Oliver, and Daisy. Sandra is also remembered by many beloved family members, as well as dear friends, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Though she is no longer with us, her love, strength, and the memories she created will remain with all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A memorial service for Sandra will be held on Saturday, July 25th, at 11:00 a.m. at Dean Lopez Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor her.
