Obituary

Wiley Post Duclo was born Sept. 28th 1935 in Rutland Vermont. Wiley was affectionately known as Duke. He peacefully passed away on July 15th while under Hospice Care in Key West.

Wiley was a 50 year resident of Key West, and loved being a Fresh Water Conch.

He was stationed here while in the Navy and returned after his retirement. He was a Career Military Man serving in the Army, Navy & CIA. Most recently he worked in Security at JIATF, until he was 83 years young. He only retired then due to illness. He made life long friends while in the service. Wiley loved his time with his Family & Grandchildren enjoying games of Poker, Pool, and Music & Dancing. His Family was his world. He loved Sunday Dinners and Movies. Wiley had a sense of humor and loved telling jokes. He was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Peter's Church in Big Pine Key.

He is predeceased by his Wife, Agnes Married to her for 68 years, Grandson Will Duclo and many other family members.

He is survived by His son Bill Duclo (Rose) and Daughter Mary (Linda). His Granddaughter Jillian Duclo & Grandson Jason McNamara.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Jerome Covington, The Staff at Hospice and Lower Keys Medical Center, and the Nurses & Therapist from Home Health Care. We are forever grateful to you all for your love, support & compassion for our Dad.

A Mass of Celebration is on Saturday July 19th at 11:00am at The Basilica of St. Mary Star of the Sea.
